To restore Topsoil we need Biomass and Biochar
Compost and Biochar help restore topsoil.
The biochar is produced with our mobile Biochar plant in 40 ft containers. During the project these containers are placed on any flat area on the project property. The biochar production needs a cooling water supply. Everything else is on board. Biomass is locally sourced and can reach from sawdust to woodchips and everything else made of clean, untreated wood.
Once the topsoil is restored it needs to be supported to avoid erosion. On slopes we use coconut mats and fast growing plants.
Building up new Eco Systems
By planting a variety of different trees, bushes, flowers and herbs we set the starting conditions for self growing value over the next years. Once roots hold the soil and avoid erosion and a good and healthy layer of topsoil is available nature takes over by itself. And every single step from biomass to Biochar and to forest stores CO2.
